I'm not the greatest artist by any means but I've seen a lot worse. This is my first decent attempt at drawing a Seeker without a screen cap to look at. HOC Starscream didn't seem to mind being my model and much thanks to :Sunstars: on her futile attempts to assist me with the arms and hands. I see all sorts of errors with her but I'm happy anyway.
Here we have Northstar who is the mother to Skywarp and Thundercracker. She's long since passed on but remains in our sparks. Draw, inked and colored by hand.
If you have nothing of use to say other than nitpick on the origins of a name... which happens to be a star that we see from this planet, then don't say it. Your remark is redunant and useless. What is alpha flight? never hears of it therefor I don't care. I am getting SO SICK of this sort of BS all the time.
NorthyStar? Quite poetic name, indeed. I don't know anything about that name among other TF incarnations, though.
I like the colouring scheme... No wonder why people uses to have a thing for black seekers.
She was co-created by Sunstars for our RP sessions and she's been pestering me to draw her. I'm not good enough to draw her in the pose I wanted to but oh well. It's a very good effort for me *pats self on back*
Aww cute to the point backstory... very nice.. i like it so a fav for you

I take in Skywarp and TC are brothers in your 'verse, then? She does appear to have some "family resemblance" there, yes, both in colour scheme (obviously) and in her attitude. And yes, there is something "maternal" about her, though her expression could just as easily belong to a pouting, very "bish" jetboy. Not that that's a bad thing, mind - chalk me up as another one who likes it when female Seekers don't look too overly girly.
I really like her facial expression.
In terms of crit, her arms look like they're of different length and number of joints. (But hey, I know how difficult it is to draw Transformer elbows...)
Also, I wish you'd cleaned up the scan - it would look a whole deal nicer without the dark shadow in the top, and without part of one wing cut off, for that matter. Presenting the image nicely - nicely scanned and cropped, with the background cleaned up to the same shade of white - helps a lot, and is someone anyone can do regardless of drawing skill. Here are a few helpful tutorials: [link]
Otherwise - well, Loon has already given you detailed crit; I don't have much to add.
Overall - hey, it's pretty good for a first attempt at drawing a Seeker without reference. Now keep practicing!
Hey, no need to bite Loon's head off - all she did was making a harmless remark about what she associates with the name. She didn't say, "You can't use that name, you stupid cow!" now did she?
That being said, I for my part have no issues with the name at all - after all, there's a whole number of canon TFs who share their names with Marvelverse characters, so it's really not without precedence.
