I was right about the colors not showing up. The red and the two shades of orange came out to be about the same color. The design was done per the customer's request. It was really simple to do but the entire cake was iced and decorated in whipped cream frosting which can be difficult to work with because it tends to be on the runny side especially when you add food coloring to it. The picture was scanned and printed using a Bakery Crafts imaging system. I would not recommend purchasing a system for home use (though it can be done via their website) because the machines are very temperamental and annoying as all frag. I had to reboot the printer and print the picture twice for this cake...and that's actually pretty good. It usually poses more problems.
